Corvette Expo Moves to Sevierville, TN
Featuring: Horsepower and Hot Rods
On October 19-20, Corvette Expo will present their first event at the new Sevierville Events Center. Located in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Events Center is only 21 miles from the previous Knoxville location. Easily accessible by I-40, located on Highway 66 only 6 miles from exit #407.
The event will feature an Auction, Swap Meet, Sales Corral, and Show with cash awards. This Fall the Auction will be held under the big top adjacent to the Events Center. Auction time is 11AM on Saturday the 20th of October. Corvette Expo‘s Auction will be presented by Thompson Carr and Associates of Sevierville, Tennessee.
The new venue is convenient to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, Dollywood, and the Dragon. Pigeon Forge offers unlimited shopping in hundreds of outlet mall stores, souvenir shops, and specialty stores. Also Pigeon Forge is full of entertainment, from an Elvis tribute to go-karts and bungee jumping. Also helicopter rides, dinner theaters, music theaters, and shows galore. After Corvette Expo closes at night there is plenty to do. A multitude of local and national chain restaurants dot the parkway from Exit 407 through Pigeon Forge. East Tennessee is beautiful in the fall, during late October as the leaves change with maximum color. Gatlinburg offers quaint shops, local cuisine, area crafts, and world renown candy and taffy shops.

Horsepower and Hot Rods features Muscle Cars and Street Rods as well as Street Machines and other stock and modified automobiles. The event features a Show, Auction, Corral, and Swap Meet. Featured car for the Fall Show will be the Chevrolet Camaro. The most outstanding Camaro in the show will take home a $1,000.00 cash award on Saturday evening at awards presentation. Cash awards also offered in other classes. Horsepower and Hot Rods is sponsored by Camaro Central of Lexington, Kentucky. Register early as space is limited to the first 65 registered cars.
