AUTO ROUND-UP STRIKES AGAIN!

Your book worked again for me!! I sold a 1976 Dodge motor that I tried to sell everywhere else around here locally with no luck. A guy came over the weekend and bought it to put in his 1947 Dodge pick-up. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Diane Kriss--Connellsville, PA

Hello, my name is Leo and I saw your ad for Truck Round-Up Magazine and I just had to subscribe to this aweseome publication. I love pickups and 4x4s, and full-size pickups, so I can't wait to start receiving it in the mail.

GREAT MESSAGE

I really enjoyed and appreciated Shaun Smith's message on the "Where We Are Going" article in Auto Round-Up Magazine, Issue No. 700. Would you give your permission to us to reprint it in our Shenandoah Region AACA SPLITRIM Newsletter? Also, for the last few years, you have sent us magazines for our Apple Blossom Car Show which turns 50 this year. We'd be really happy if you could do this again to help us out.

Arthur C. Bragg — Brucetown, VA

EDITOR’S NOTE: I'm glad you enjoyed our article on the old car hobby. This hobby is important to lot of great people out there in the world and it is our job to make sure this road continues. Yes, by all means, you have our permission to re-print this article in your newsletter. If anyone else would also like to re-print the "Where We Are Going" article from Auto Round-Up Magazine, Issue No. 700, please contact us. Also, we will definitely send you out some sample magazines for your goody bags. Thank You.

LONG-TIME SUBSCRIBER

Hi, my name is Larry Mooneyhan. I have been with your magazine ever since 1994. I know for sure I have enjoyed it for many years. I never knew what some of the cars and trucks existed until I read your magazine, even though I am 64 years old. The free advertising is a great asset to any subscriber. I have sold many items in your magazine. Keep up the great work. Thank you!

Larry Mooneyhan— Portland, TN

CAN'T WAIT

I must tell you that I can't wait for your books to come in the mail. I have gotten a lot of things out of Auto Round-Up.

David Cohick Sr. — North Bend, PA

700TH ANNIVERARY ISSUE

Are you messing with us old rodders?! I was intrigued by your cover cars in Auto Round-Up, Issue No. 700. So, I looked inside trying to find the purple coupe. Nope, sure enough, I could not find it. Now, that ain't nice of you to do that!

T.J.— Marietta, OH

EDITOR’S NOTE: The 700th Anniversary's FRONT cover contained cars we have received throughout the years, that's why it says "Collector Cars Thru The Years...Keeping The Dream Alive...Now & Tomorrow." The cars on the back cover are actually in the magazine. We just wanted to do something special for this milestone issue. We apologize for the confusion. Thanks for reading Auto Round-Up!

GREAT MAGAZINE

Thanks for a great magazine. Keep up the good work

UNDOUBTEDLY

I certainly enjoy your magazine. It is undoubtedly the best. Enclosed is my check for a renewal. Keep up the good work—your stuff is the best!

Jerry Ryan— Barnsdall, OK

PLASTIC WRAPPER

Great idea with the plastic wrapper. It keeps both the moisture and the Mail Man out of my Mag. Thanks.

Dave Hanley— Lansdale, PA

EDITOR’S NOTE: Hi Dave, and thanks for your kind words. We started using plastic bags for the Renewal copies of your subscription; however, this will not be for every issue that comes through the mail. The main concern here, is to take advantage of renewing your subscription when you receive a Round-Up in a plastic bag. Otherwise, your subscription may run out. At some point in the future, we may use plastic bags on every issue, keep your eyes peeled!

MY TRUCK HAS BEEN SOLD

I placed an ad online and in your Truck Round-Up Magazine. I sold my truck this past Satruday and would like you to delete the ad from your website. It was a 1997 F-250 Pickup. Thank you.

ALL-AMERICAN CARS

Please keep the Auto Round-Up Magazine All-American antique, classic, and street rod cars only. Any Jag cars don't belong in your magazine. It's an insult to our cars. Look how they ruined NASCAR. I'm a longtime subscriber.

Tom Zubris--Hazleton, PA

EDITOR: Hi Tom,

Thank you for your loyalty to our magazine. We have always allowed foreign cars in the Auto Round-Up Magazine and we do consider them part of this old car hobby. I've got a little secret for you though, if you don't tell anyone....I agree with you, American classic cars are the best!

THANK YOU

Thank you for selling my 1931 Ford Model A 5-Window Coupe. You got a great magazine for selling cars and trucks. Look forward for every issue. Keep up the good work.

Tracy Cost--Newark, OH

THE VERY BEST

Your magazine is the very best. I can't wait until the next issue comes out.

BEST TRADE PUBLICATION OUT THERE!

I’ve read the Auto Round-Up for years now, and I’ve used it to purchase three vintage cars (a ‘49 Hudson Commodore, a ‘63 VW Crew Cab pickup, and a ‘67 VW mircrobus). I’m now running a want ad in search of the elusive pre-1955 VW bus. There are probably only 35 or so out there, but I feel confident that one will pop up in a barn or a field somewhere. I just wanted to say thank you for running the best auto trading publication out there! I would never have found the cars I have now without you guys. I’ll still be reading Auto Round-Up every issue.

Andrew J. Malanik-- Monroe, NC

GREAT RESPONSE

I got great response to my ad in Auto Round-Up. Calls came in from all over. You need more copies in the stores. They sell out fast.

AUTO ROUND-UP IS A CLASS ACT

I have been reading your Auto Round-Up for years, and now I’m ordering a subscription for the good friend that keeps my old iron running. Instead of passing my “read” issues to him, I can now keep them and he will have his own. I stopped by your booth at the Canfield Meet and met your son. I can see why your publication is a Class Act! Thanks.

Chuck Kozelka-- Macedonia, OH

THANKS FOR SELLING MY CAR!

Hello all,  You put a free ad in the Round-Up about 4 weeks ago for a 1959 Ford Convertible. Would like to thank you and your great staff for helping me sell my car. Things are tough out there right now. I had this car for 20 years. Had to sell it to pay some bills. I had about 50 calls on this car. Thank you again.

Rick Burris--Mendon Ohio

QUICKER!!!

There's only one problem with your magazine...it doesn't come out quicker! I really enjoy this magazine!

Joel Horne--Waterford, VA

DO YOU HAVE ANY BACK ISSUES FOR SALE?

Do you keep back issues of your magazines? About 4 years ago I had a car in your magazine. At the time I didn't get the magazine, I was told at the time my car was on the front cover. It was a yellow 34 Ford with multi-color stripes on the side from Bloomingrose WV. If you keep back issues I was hoping to get a copy of this magazine.

Thank You, Mark

EDITOR: Hi Mark,

Yes we do keep back issues, but mainly for our own historical collection here.  However, from time to time, we may have a specific issue for sale, if we have plenty left over.  We will need to know EXACTLY which issue number it is that you need.  The problem is this, over 34 years, we have printed over 1,200 editions of various magazines, so it would take absolutely years to track down the issue without knowing the exact issue you need.

We will try to help.

Thanks. Auto Round-Up Staff

PARTS NEEDED

I recently bought a 1939 Chevy panel truck (all metal sides) from a retired sheriff who said it has been in his pasture for 40 years. Seeing it from the road in his pasture, it looked like something. But, when I got it home, I saw that a lot of work needed to be done on it this winter and I would need to order a lot of parts. On social security, I have a lot of spare time to work on this project. That's why I am sending you a money order for $33.00 instead of a check, so that maybe I can get your Parts Locating Guide a lot sooner than your ad said. As I am hoping to put it in the show here on July 1. Needing a lot of parts and hope to hear from you soon. Thanks Jerry.

Jerry L. Smith -- Auxvasse, MO

IMPRESSED WITH DISTRIBUTION!

I was really impressed with your distribution. I was staying at the same hotel as you guys at a swap meet and you were passing out magazines in the parking lot!!! Wow, I thought that's a great company and definitely some place I want to advertise.

OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE

Dear Mr. Smith,

Recently, I have had the pleasure of cooresponding with Kathy Snow regarding placing my 1979 Lincoln Mark V in your magazine. She has been outstanding in returning my telephone calls and following up on specifics regarding my ad. Kathy has proven to me that she is very professional in dealing with car collectors in every way. I greatly appreciate her and how she presents herself over the phone to total strangers. For that reason, I have renewed my subscription for another year and will inform the members in my car clubs about your magazine. I am very pleased with Kathy's work and think you should be proud of her for her outstanding public relations to your customers.

Sincerely,

Ronald J. Rice--Orange Park, FL

I LOVE YOUR MAGAZINE!

I just love your magazine. I've been getting it ever since I started my business. I think it's just great! I always renew 5 years at a time.

YEAR ONE MYRTLE BEACH FALL CRUISE DONATIONS

Dear Shaun,

On behalf of the Myrtle Beach Car Club, I would like to thank you for helping sponsor our Year One Myrtle Beach Fall Cruise car show. The event this year was again for Caring in our Lifetime, a volunteer group that helps people with breast cancer by donating money to them if needed, getting them to medical appointments, etc. With your assistance, we were able to surpass last year's amount. The donation was presented to the charity just before the end of the show.

I have enclosed a little remembrance to show our gratitude for your help. Again, thank you. Without help from folks like you, we could not have been successful.

PS> Thank you so much for the magazines and the door prizes. We had a great turn out of cars from all over the U.S. and Canada. Working with people like yourself makes putting a charity show all the more easier to put together. We surpassed last year's donation by a large amount!

Sincerely,

Dick Axelrod--Myrtle Beach, SC

MORE FREE ADS?

Dear Mr. Smith:

I subscribe to both of your fine mags. I appreciate the Free Ads. Any chance of of allowing three ads instead of two? Anyway, the main reason I am writing is sometimes I send my ad in but they don't get put in when they should. I should have had my two ads in the latest Auto Round-Up, but I never seen them. Then, that sets me back another two weeks for the next book. I hope you can see why I don't get my ads in when they should be. Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Bruce Glew--Dubuque, IA

P.S.>Keep up the good work with your magazines!

EDITOR: Hi Bruce. We really appreciate your continued support as a subscriber. As far as your first question goes, we do not plan, at this time, to offer a third ad free. We believe that the two free ads are very generous, as no one else offers this service. In order to offer three free photo ads per issue, we would have to offset the increase in printing more pages (due to more ads being mailed in) with raising subscription rates. This is obviously something we do not wish to do.

For your second question regarding missing ads: there are a couple of scenarios that can prevent your ads from appearing. They include: 1. Late delivery of mail by the post office; 2. Lost mail by the post office; and 3. Sending in more than two ads during the two week period. The first reason seems to be happening more often with the post office. Since you are sending in ads from Iowa, please allow AT LEAST seven days to get here, if not more. With our deadlines exactly every two weeks, and with Auto Round-Up, being on a Monday, this would mean you would have to send your ads to us on AT LEAST the previous Monday, if not before. Moving onto the second reason: Sometimes we have cases reported where the post office completely lost mail, but not too often. As far as the third reason goes, we no longer "hold" ads over if more than the limit is sent in during the two-week period. With the massive amount of mail that comes into our office everyday, it is virtually impossible to hold ads over until the next issue because there is no way to off-set the multiple expenses involved with doing this--other than charging for all of the ads, and we CERTAINLY do not wish to do this--ever. However, if you would like to send in more than the two-ad limit, you can pay for this: Our rates are $5.00 for each additional Word Ad; $7.50 for each addition Black & White Photo Ad; and $10.00 for each additional Full Color Photo Ad. Please refer to the ad deadline schedule in our magazine or on our website for exact deadline dates.

BOOGIE-TIME!

Dear Shaun,

On behalf of the Southern Knights of Central Kentucky, I would like to thank you for your magazine coverage of our recent event and your version of the Boonesborough Boogie dance. Your contribution to the Boonesborough Boogie Nationals makes it possible for us to continue to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass. Since its inception in 1989, the Southern Knights have made it a priority to help others as much as possible. In 2006, we have continued this achievement by donating $116,000.00 to the Ronald McDonald House. Others that have benefited from our events are the SCARS (Scott County Amateur Radio System), Scott County Toys for Tots, and individual families that needed help. This has only been possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you. The goal of the Southern Knights is to continue to make a difference in the lives of many people. With the continued help of donations from supporters such as you, we will continue to share our blessings. Once again, thank you for bringing more fun to our show.

Sincerely,

Chuck Tingle, President, The Southern Knights of Kentucky

DOUBLE-DIP CONFUSION

Excuse Me!! I sent in a check on 10-07-07 for $22.00 (1 Year) for Auto Round-Up Magazine. Please don't try to double-dip by sending me another Renewal Form OK? Check your records!

Confused,

Robert D. Zech--Surprise, AZ

EDITOR: Hi Robert. We really appreciate your continued support as a subscriber. We were able to check our records for you and found that you are paid up for your subscription, so everything is ok. Your first Renewal Form was mailed from our printer on 09-14-07 and we didn't receive your payment until after 10-12-07, which is when your second Renewal Form went out. Since we did not receive it before our mailing deadline date of 10-11-07, your address was put in with the group to receive a second Renewal Form. Since you are located on the west coast, please allow a minimum of one week for us to receive anything by postal mail and even more time during the holidays. We are a family-owned and operated business that has been around since 1974. Auto Round-Up does not double-dip and never will. We hope this clears up the situation and once again, we are really glad that you like our magazine. We hope you will continue to enjoy Auto Round-Up Magazine.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS

Dear Auto Round-Up,

The Olds Club of Florida thanks you for your recent contribution of door prizes, silent auction items and magazines for our goody bag material for our recent BOPC Show on October 27. Rainy weather left us with a little smaller attendance than expected, however, the show field was full of quality Buicks, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Cadillacs. The oldest car at the show was a 1914 Buick and the newest was a 2005 Pontiac GTO. Again, we thank you for your continued support. It is this support that makes this show the success it is each year.

Best Regards,

Leo Stutzman, President, Olds Club of Florida

TAKE ONE DOWN AND PASS IT AROUND

I buy two magazines from you guys. I take one to work to pass around and I leave one at home. Once I found out that you could advertise free photo ads in your publication, I dropped all of my other subscriptions! You guys are the best!

AUTO ROUND-UP IS A "CLASS ACT..."

I have been a subscriber to your magazine, Auto Round-Up for many years. This first subscription is for a good friend who keeps my old iron running. Instead of passing along my issues to him, I can now keep them, and he will have his own to read. The other subscription is to the body shop that I frequent so that they too can enjoy Auto Round-Up. Also, I stopped by your booth at the Canfield Meet and met your son. I can now see why your publication is a "class" act. Thanks!!

Chuck Kozelka -- Macedonia, OH

READER'S RIDES ...

Hi Auto-Roundup......I once had a '55 Chevy Convertible appear in your
'Reader's Rides'.....and appreciated it very much.

Charles Callis - Union City, TN

ADVERTISING IS QUITE REASONABLE...

I love old cars. I have been in this hobby for over 40 years, since I was in high school. I like your magazine because the cars are different. I've dealt with Hemmings Motor News before and they're rates are high and they don't even offer color ads. Your advertising rates are quite reasonable at $10 for a color photo ad.

John - Springfield, VT

KEEP THE OLD IRON RUNNING...

To Whom It May Concern: I have been receiving your magazine for many years. This subscription is to a good friend who keeps my old iron running. Instead of passing my (read) issues to him, I can now keep them and he will have his own to read. Thanks!

Chuck Kozelka - Macedonia, OH

AUTO ROUND-UP IS GOOD

I really like your magazine.

KIND WORDS FOR AUTO ROUND-UP

I have enjoyed your magazine over the years and have used it extensively. I have a question, though, do you have a magazines that features some of the newer cars for sale?

Dan Baker - Alto, MI

EDITOR: Hi Dan, thanks for your kind words, it is always appreciative to hear from our enthusiastic readers. Yes, we do have a magazine that features some of the newer cars and trucks for sale, which is Auto/Truck Round-Up Monthly. Auto/Truck Round-Up is mainly filled with antiques and classics, but we will accept any year, make or model to this publication, so it is open-game. And, best of all, the advertising is still FREE. And, what's better, you get up to 5 Free Photo Ads Per Issue! For more information on Auto/Truck Round-Up Monthly, pickup a copy at a newsstand near you or check out our website www.Auto-Roundup.com.

CLEAN UP PROGRAMS ARE NOT GOOD FOR OLD CAR HOBBYISTS...

Good morning, Ron & Crew........just read your A Story = clean up.West Virginia....blame it on Lady Bird Johnson. We know she died last week, but so what. It was her idea to clean up the USA...rid it of junk vehicles. This was her attempt to make her ugly self more beautiful...she was a ugly b---- . She got a law passed on all the old junk yards we loved, faced a $450 fine per vehicle if they were not crushed and removed !!   Locally here in Calvert County, Maryland, she and her ugly self visited Jimmy Gulfs yard straight down Pennsylvania Ave, 60 miles from her throne (White House). She put his yard on TV and in news papers as a example. Jimmy paid the $450 fine and kept his cars.  She had a lighted fountain built in the Potomac River at Hains Point with our tax money. It worked for 5 months.  Since then, many States have followed her lead today. In the '50s and '60s , our hot rod circle visited about 14 junk yards around Maryland and Virginia. She killed them.Yes, all of us Rodders are  hard on the ugly woman.....she deserves it.Keep kroozen, Jim Mothershead, bangin' on old cars since 1957

PS: Keep up the great work. 25-Year Long Subscriber, Maybe Longer!!!

PRICE OF GAS IS A BUMMER...

Hi again Scooter here.
Hey , out there, just curious. Are any of you going to less shows or closer car shows because of the
higher cost of gas ? Also, I'm curious about another subject. Do you like day time  or night time  car shows better ?

Thanks, Scooter

GRANADAS & MONARCHS ...

Granadas and Monarchs were mentioned on here . That kicked out an old memory of a true story that happened to me a few months before the introduction of those models from Ford. Or lets put it this way. The security guards  for the  delivery / truck entrance of either the Michigan Ave Plant or the Rouge River Ford plant told me this story. Right now I can't remember which plant for sure.   But they had no
reason to  lie to me, so I'd say it might be true. I was  driving a 24 "straight truck making a expedited freight
delivery. When I had to be stopped and checked out at the gate I noticed a few thousand probably new  Granada and Monarchs setting there.    I guessed to be loaded on to car haulers and sent to the dealers for the coming  announcement day. There were a dozen or so bread type panel vans parked among the cars with air compressor etc on and in them. I also noticed  there were six or eight of them jacked up in the front  and a few teams of guys  working under them.  I asked what that was all about? The guards began to laugh and said what the hell, some one at the test track jumped in one and went to see just how fast it would go.   And at high speeds these things have some un known or un tested problem. They shake so bad you can hardly control them.  The guards told me,... I guess because these are family sedans mostly,
no one ever ran them faster than maybe 75 or 80.  We the problem starts at near 88 or 90.  So those teams are out there installing what ever will change or stop the shake before  being shipped out. And the ones
still being assembled are having the change on the assembly line.  I guess those crews were eliminating a future re-call. Ralph Nader didn't get a hold of this one, other wise ,who knows what may have happened.

~Scooter FROM SCOOTER'S GARAGE

SCOOTER'S BACKGROUND...

Those mentioned are for sure good ones. I'm sure you all out there know of more makes and models. Let us know of more  future collectables. I just happen to be  more knowledgable of the Chevrolet stuff. For two
reasons. One, my Dad worked for a dealership as a sales man for over 40 yrs and I grew up in that dealership.  In fact  because of that I was able to get my drivers license at age 14 to work as a the lot boy,  parts runner, customer chauffer etc. FYI, But have since owned more Ford old cars than Chevy's. Then # two, I  was a Chevy salesman in a big dealership in Grand Rapids, Michigan after my dad died from 1978 till 1981.  To better explain the Chevette HO and 5speed trans, read on.    Five speeds came out in the  either 78 or 79  models  Chevettes.  But you had to order the High altitude emissions and in some cases air conditioning to get the HO motor, which needed the larger HP to move the darn car, ha ha !  As with  most GM order codes If a un-knowing sales man clicked on the M-19 or what ever the transmission order number was and had not punched in the high altitude emissions order code earlier it would kick
out the 5 speed saying "not available". I'm not bragging .but I am trying to show credibility to my statements.
maybe this will help, and its true.  I  was given a certificate and plaque award for Chevrolet product
knowledge for a perfect score.  I was the only salesman that had a perfect score in  the state of  Michigan back in 1979. We all know many sales man are just that, sales men, not car lovers. I was and am a
car lover that happened to become a  sales man.  That's why I was able to  work the system that many others simply didn't try to or care to. Just sell the damn car and get the commission is the way most do it,even today. Hey, back to the fun stuff. Options... Take the famous Z-28 Camaro.    That began as just the factory order number.   Punching in Z-28 gave you the 302 factory balanced engine,( I can explain that statement another time), mandatory 4 speed, with  F-41 (again an order code #) suspension. And some other stuff I don't remember.  Hence the old 60's Z-06 Vettes, Z-24 Cavaliers, and the list goes on.
Keep this stuff coming. I love the information you subscribers out there have.

5-SPEED TRANSMISSIONS...

Scooter, I hadn't heard until your post that Chevettes or Vegas of any kind ever had 5-speed transmissions; is this actually a fact? Thought they came out mostly during the 80's in just the front-wheel-drive cars and the larger rwd cars and trucks. And don't forget to stock up on those Fox-body Ford products (Mustang/Capri, Fairmont/Zephyr) or the midsize V-8 Granadas and Monarchs, if they're still around somewhere; lots of parts value if not much else! Same thing with the 70's-80's V-8 Mopars when you can get 'em, plus HD police equipment on some as well!

CORRECTION

Hi again Scooter here.
I miss stated myself, in the "hand writing on the  wall" posting. It is  the Omni not the Horizion GLH.  Should be no biggie, but I didn't want you all out there to be looking for Horizions and passing up Omni's
in a telephone conversation that might turn out to be GLH's.

WHY AUTO ROUND-UP IS BETTER THAN HEMMINGS...

Here’s why Auto Round-Up is better than Hemmings: You can’t fold up a Hemmings in your pocket and take it on an airplane. You can’t lug something that huge to your local cafe to enjoy with your coffee. Auto Round-Up is the perfect size magazine and because the photo advertising is free, it’s the best thing going today!

HELLO OUT THERE! FROM SCOOTER...

Hell-o out there,  Scooter here, from Scooters Garage in Auto Round-up. Say, The guys and gals I hang with and my self are seeing a  "hand writing on the wall" ? Here's the root of this discussion. Most of us over say, 50 something remember when you could buy a 57 Chevy hard top for a few hundred dollars and many of the now  very collectable and expensive vintage cars and trucks. We here at Scooters Garage are seeing and now sharing an idea that has merrit.  I've compiled a  short list of some of the cars that if you
have the money you should be buying and storing them in a barn and in time they will become the future 1957 Chevies, big block Mopars of today. And having looked most of these are  CHEAP now. 1981 and up Chevy Citation X-11's not just regular family Citations. These things were one of  the FIRST  new age Muscle / hi performance cars. They have a fiberglass hood, rare named mag wheels and a high out put
V-6 different gears in the trans, GM's good F-41 suspension  and more. Also, any Shelby stuff from Chrysler. The 2.2 Shelby Charger turbo as well as the  non turbo models.   A really desireable one is the GLH models of the  Horizion. The GLH stands for "GOES LIKE HELL" ! Seriously, thats old Mr. Shelby at his best. They come in turbo and non turbo models too. Add to the go get em list, Older even 4 cylinder, 2300 cc Mustang pace cars.  And folks you're gonna think old SCOOTER has lost it!  But Any PINTO is getting collectable. And at the top of this list are these"cruising wagons". They look like a panel station wagon and have small round windows on each rear side of the  vehicle.  I called  on one the other day and it had SOLD FOR OVER $6500. Another probable hot one in the future is the REAL RARE Chevette with optioned high out put motor, and high altitude emmissions. Then, hopefully the 5 speed but the 4 speed is OK too.  They should also have the  harder GM F-41 suspension, whch for about $40 bucks got you  larger shocks, front and rear sway bars and heavier springs. I used to sell Chevrolets at a big dealer ship back then and I ordered one in 1979 as a demo wit the high out put motor ($55). It came listed as only 5 more horse power, but had a higher lift hydraulic cam that let the motor rev another 1000 RPM's that you could keep track of if you ordered the gage package at another about $50 bucks. Also the best way  in a bone yard or back yard garage sale or used car lot to know if its the  H.O. motor is they came from the factory with dual header pipes from the manifold to the convertor.  I suprised many 318i Beemers with this little car. If you got the high alttiude emission(About $11 Bucks), you  got a 4:11 rear end, instead of the stock 3:70 gears.  It was also a good solo 11 car in SCCA's H stock class. Amy way keep ypur eye out for these cars they are now cheap and will all be crushed as was not the way it was back in the old days.  So if you have the storage room and a few bucks you could be buying your kids or grand kids college fund for a couple hundred bucks,or less. Plus  when these now broken,  non desireable vehicles become the  57 Chevies and Hemi Cuda's a few years from now, you'll be able to name your price for the parts you'll have too.
Any of you out there have or want to add to the list of future collectables ? Hey we're havin fun right ?
